We consider the flavor changing neutral current(FCNC) process e+e− → t̄c(or tc̄) in the context of topcolor-assisted technicolor(TC2) models. We find that the contributions of charged scalars (technipions and top-pions) and topcolor gauge bosons are negligibly small. We review the status of hard interactions, in particular of jet and heavy flavor production , at HERA and LEP. Emphasis is given to recent theoretical developments. Instantons, event shapes, and prompt photons are also briefly discussed.

Lepton flavor violating decays Z → µτ and J/Ψ, Υ → µτ are considered. It is shown that these decays can reach sizeable magnitudes if some specific lepton-flavor violating 4-fermion operators are generated by low scale quantum gravity effects, or by some other new physics at a TeV scale.
